God has ordained us for belonging and connection... so we belong to Him and we belong to each other.
Jesus' death created a way for every follower of Jesus to be in His family and kingdom, whether Israelite or Gentile. We are all citizens of Heaven and if you looked at our passport, our home nation wouldn't be Britain it would be Heaven. And our surname would be 'of Christ' (or 'Christou' in Greek). We are made in God's image and because God is part of the Trinity - our DNA is designed for connection - and that is why we long for belonging. Eph 2:11-22
